Beautiful 15.5” vintage Pennino necklace in very good condition. "The Pennino family was known for fine jewelry craftsmanship in Italy before migrating to the United States in the early 1900s. They owned a jewelry store in New York in the early 1900s where Pasquale Pennino and his son Otto ran the shop. Pasquale opened a small goldsmith shop in 1908. He died later that year. After Pasquale passed, his sons Otto, Frank, and Jack (Oreste, Francis, and Gennaro in Italian) continued to learn the jewelry business working in the trade. The brothers had been known as the “three Neapolitan Princes” in Italy as they were descendants of royalty along with being well-dressed and quite mannerly young men. Always working closely together, they founded Pennino Brothers in 1926." Untested. As-is.
